What I’ve Been Loving in February

Hey Everyone!

It’s March, woohoo! This month is actually a big month for me, as it will be my 1 year anniversary of being married, our 6 month anniversary of owning our home and my birthday! March has always been so good to me, so I am hoping it will stay that way.

This post is a bit different from what I normally do. I don’t use too many new products every month now, so my favourites don’t really change. I figured I would share what I am loving this month which includes TV shows, books and different products.

Keep on reading if you would like to see more!

TV Shows

I’m probably the worst when it comes to watching TV, which really isn’t a bad thing, but I am constantly recommended shows to watch and my list piles higher and higher. However, there have been 2 shows that I have been obsessed with this past month (besides Friends).

This Is Us

Man, this show has made me feel emotions that I haven’t felt in a long time. The feeling of losing someone important, that heartache, the grief. I’ve been watching it since November, but the second season has definitely impacted a lot of us. Those 2 episodes right after the Superbowl–WOW. I’m so happy I decided to give this show a chance, it really has impacted me greatly.

Gossip Girl

Okay, this show premiered 10+ years ago and I remember watching the first season then just stopped. So, I was elated when it showed up on Netflix. I am currently on the 2nd season, so I have no idea what happens for the rest of the show. Who is your fave on this show?

Books

OMG, I didn’t read a single book in February. I was on such a roll in January, but completely fell off last month. However, there are a few books on my list that I can’t wait to read. I will keep you updated on those.

Products

The Balm: Smoke Balm Palette

I really love this simple palette. It has 3 shades that have high pigmentation. It’s easy to create a smokey or simple look. I have been wearing this for the last month and a full review will be up soon!

Smoke Balm Palette Inside

Lancome Monsieur Big Mascara

This mascara surprised me. I’ve been using it a lot more than my go-to, L’Oreal Voluminous, which is not normal. The brush on this is thick and provides such volume to my lashes. I find it easier to apply than L’Oreal. I will have a full review on this as well.

Lancome

Dove Volume Dry Shampoo

I just wrote a post on this, so you can find it here, but I really love this shampoo for days when I just don’t want to bother with my hair. It gives my hair such volume!

Dove Refresh + Care Volume Dry Shampoo

I hope you enjoyed this different format this month. Hopefully, my book section is a lot more eventful next month 😉

Please leave me a comment with some of your favourite books or must watch TV! I love hearing what your faves are.

Thanks for reading!

  1. That Balm palette looks so pretty with all the versatile neutrals. And I also love the Dove dry shampoo. My hair is so long and thick it is impossible to get any volume, but that spray is the only thing that works! I need to pick up a new one. I really liked the format this month too. Great job! xoxo

  3. I’ve seen those little palettes from TheBalm around and wondered how good they were. They seem like they’re a good combination of colours. I realised I haven’t read anything this month either! I’ll have to get back on track with that too.

  4. That little palette from TheBalm looks great! The purple reminds me of my favorite HG eyeshadow that was discontinued years ago – I might have to go swatch it and see if it’s a dupe! And I also have a coupon for a Dove dry shampoo!

  6. I’m such a sucker for gossip girl: this is my third time watching it through and I freaking love Chuck. Dan is a whiner the more you watch it. You think he has the best intentions through most of it but if you watch it twice you totally pick up on how much of a giant baby he is lol
