Hey Everyone!
Tonight’s post is going to be about my holy grail products. These products you have seen on my blog in various posts. I rarely stray away from them and they are the essentials in my makeup routine.
We all have them! I wanted to share with you my faves and please let me know what products you can’t live without!
Urban Decay’s Naked 2 Palette & Naked Smokey Palette
Starting off strong with these 2 palettes! The Naked 2 palette was actually my first high-end palette that I ever bought. I remember buying it when I was in New York City and I didn’t touch it for the longest time. Obviously, I used it and I couldn’t put it down. It’s such an amazing every day palette and it’s perfect for work. I have hit pan on one of the shades and 2 of them are missing, as I dropped it a couple of times (eek). Besides that, this palette has traveled with me everywhere and it’s so hard to stray away from something so good, however…
Allow me to introduce you to the Naked Smokey Palette by Urban Decay! When this first came out, I was lusting over it. I feel like there’s a few similarities between the two palettes, but I love that the Smokey palette has a few darker shades with some mattes mixed in. I have been reaching for this one a little bit more, but both of them are so interchangeable to me that it’s hard to use anything else.
Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Dark Eraser Concealer
Hands down, the best concealer out there. Everything from the applicator to the coverage to the shades available is perfect. I have tried many, many concealers and they all fall flat due to them being too orange looking, not enough coverage and not being able to blend it out (looking at you NYX HD Concealer). I decided that enough was enough and I was going back to this concealer. The coverage is so good that I sometimes just use this as an all over foundation when I am having those lazy days or when I don’t want a foundation on my skin. Obviously, I get intrigued with other concealers, but this one is definitely my ride or die!
L’Oreal Voluminous Mascara
Ah, mascaras. I have an obsession with mascaras as I always feel like I am on the hunt for one that makes my lashes long and voluminous. There has been a couple that I liked, but none have ever made my lashes look better than this one. My lashes have always stayed long all day with no touch up needed. The brush is thicker making application easy and it doesn’t flake! The only other mascara that comes close to this one, in my opinion, is Too Faced Better Than Sex. That is one good mascara, especially the brush, but the formula is better with L’Oreal.
Tarte Paaarty Blush
I found out about this blush when I received it from Sephora’s birthday gift. I was a bit hesitant with it at first, as it really wasn’t a shade I would use, but I was so wrong. The colour is absolutely gorgeous and it wears so well on my skin. I love the formula of this as it has a creamy feel. The one being shown in the picture is a deluxe sample backup, as mine does not look like that at all–it’s well loved.
Hard Candy Glow All The Way Bronzer
I used to be a big fan of Hard Candy, but I was starting to find that their products weren’t as great I used to think they were. However, this bronzer, which I use as a highlighter, has always been my favourite. It gives my skin a glow that I have yet to find in any other product. A little definitely goes a long way this one! I really recommend this as I don’t think you will be disappointed and it’s very inexpensive.
Urban Decay All-Nighter Setting Spray
This is not a surprise at all! I have raved about this setting spray in so many posts that it’s almost annoying (ha!). I have tried multiple setting sprays in hopes to find one like all-nighter, but it’s useless. This spray sets my makeup like no other and it keeps it on ALL DAY long. I don’t have to touch up anything through out the day and it keeps my skin feeling & looking smooth. If you are on the lookout for a good spray, buy this–you will never buy anything else, promise!
Alright, that’s all for my holy grail products. I hope you enjoyed reading about them and I promise that I will keep my posts about them to a minimum, unless I am comparing them with another product.
Let me know some of your faves!
Those eyeshadow palettes look so beautiful! Definitely on my wishlist

I need to try that L’Oreal mascara! I usually stick with my Better Than Sex mascara but I really need to branch out.

It’s so easy to stick with what you love. Mascara is especially difficult to find something new. Nothing seems to be good enough haha

I always find myself buying super expensive concealers just to try them, but I’ve never loved ANY the way I love the Age Rewind concealer lol. It’s definitely my go-to! 🙂

I’ve heard SO many good things about that concealer 🙌🏻 I always wonder if it would be too heavy under a tinted moisturizer though!

Yesss, that Tarte blush is amazing! The UD palettes are always a classic, although my personal fave is the original one.
