Review: Garnier Fructis Hair Treats

Hey Everyone!

This post is all about Garnier Fructis’ 1 Minute Hair Mask that I received for free from Glamsense. Even though I didn’t pay for this product, all my opinions and thoughts are my own!

What Is It?

A hair mask is pretty much a hair treatment that, hopefully, gives you the results you are looking for. Some results can be smoother hair, less frizz, more shine etc. The hair mask that I got was Avocado Smoothing Treatment and it was meant to provide my hair with a smoother look & less frizziness.

I believe Garnier has 4 other treatments in this line and they all have an amazing smell to go with them!

How To Use It

With some hair masks, the only way to use it is to leave it on your hair for 1-2 minutes after your shampooing. However, the mask that I was sent says it can be used 3 different ways, which include:

  • As A Hair Mask: Leave on after shampoo for 1 minute then rinse.
  • As A Conditioner: After shampoo, apply on hair. Rinse
  • As A Leave-In Treatment: Apply on damp hair.

I tried this product all three ways, but I found the leave-in treatment to be the best for me.Garnier Fructis Hair Treats.JPG

Overall Thoughts

I was pleasantly surprised by the product. In the past, I bought many hair masks and ended up throwing them out, as they either did nothing for me or I didn’t see the extra step being necessary.

I love that I can use this as a leave-in product, as it has made a huge difference in my hair game. I found my hair to be so much smoother after one use of leaving it in. The frizz was gone, there were no fly-aways and best of all, my hair actually cooperated with me when it came to styling.  The scent isn’t overwhelming at all, it is very fresh.

After using this for 2 weeks, I will definitely buy this again and I will most likely try the other treatments too. From my understanding, it costs under $5 CDN.
