Question: Dermalogica Precleanse or Clinique Take The Day Off?

Hey Everyone!

This is just a short post and I basically just want your opinion. I’ve been using makeup remover wipes for the longest time & I honestly think it has done more harm than good.

I’ve been looking around for a good makeup balm or oil for the longest time and the first one that always comes up is Dermalogica’s Precleanse. I have heard nothing but amazing things about this product, so my first instinct is to buy it.

Just as I was going to order it, I noticed Clinique’s Take the Day Off balm and that had amazing reviews too.

So my question to you is: What product do you recommend more? Have you tried either of these? Or is there another product that is similar that you swear by?

Please let me know because I don’t know what to go with.

Thank you!

P.S. My posts will be back to normal soon. I’m off work until January 2nd and just enjoying some relaxation ๐Ÿ˜˜

  1. I love Dermalogica Precleanse, but never tried the Clinique. I think both brands offer sample versions you can try out first. My favorite is actually the Skinfood Black Sugar Perfect Cleansing Oil, and if youโ€™re buying from Ulta online Iโ€™d recommend it since itโ€˜s about half the price and so good!

  2. I haven’t tried Dermalogica Precleanse but I have tried the Clinique and I say get the Clinique! I’ve actually repurchased it, that’s how good it is. Effective and gentle. Plus, it’s less expensive than Dermalogica.

  3. I haven’t tried either of these products, but I do use e.l.f. Cosmetics Hydrating Gel Melt Cleanser. It’s $10 and SO GOOD! I have heard great things about Clinique’s Take the Day Off, though.
