Question: Dermalogica Precleanse or Clinique Take The Day Off?

Hey Everyone!

This is just a short post and I basically just want your opinion. I’ve been using makeup remover wipes for the longest time & I honestly think it has done more harm than good.

I’ve been looking around for a good makeup balm or oil for the longest time and the first one that always comes up is Dermalogica’s Precleanse. I have heard nothing but amazing things about this product, so my first instinct is to buy it.

Just as I was going to order it, I noticed Clinique’s Take the Day Off balm and that had amazing reviews too.

So my question to you is: What product do you recommend more? Have you tried either of these? Or is there another product that is similar that you swear by?

Please let me know because I don’t know what to go with.

Thank you!

P.S. My posts will be back to normal soon. I’m off work until January 2nd and just enjoying some relaxation 😘

  1. I love Dermalogica Precleanse, but never tried the Clinique. I think both brands offer sample versions you can try out first. My favorite is actually the Skinfood Black Sugar Perfect Cleansing Oil, and if you’re buying from Ulta online I’d recommend it since it‘s about half the price and so good!

  2. I haven’t tried Dermalogica Precleanse but I have tried the Clinique and I say get the Clinique! I’ve actually repurchased it, that’s how good it is. Effective and gentle. Plus, it’s less expensive than Dermalogica.

  3. I haven’t tried either of these products, but I do use e.l.f. Cosmetics Hydrating Gel Melt Cleanser. It’s $10 and SO GOOD! I have heard great things about Clinique’s Take the Day Off, though.
