Happy December!
This is my favourite time of the year, as I am sure it’s a lot of people’s favourites. For me personally, it’s the happiest time of the year and I wish it could be December every single day, but it can’t. I am going to try my hardest to post as often as possible this month but don’t hold me to that. I wanted to participate in Blogmas as I have seen a few of you participating, but I know I would fail at it haha. So, I am making my own schedule up. I promise lots of Christmas related posts and, of course, New Years.
On a side not, I made it to VIB today! I went to a new Sephora today to check it out and buy some presents. The girls there were amazing and so friendly. Very different than the other Sephora I normally go to. They were almost (just almost) a bit more excited than I was, but I am glad I reached it. I honestly didn’t think I would as I went on a low-buy this year and did really well. So thank you people who I had to buy gifts for 😉
Enough of my blabbering, I am going to start the month off with a tag and then follow up with a separate post of my favourite Christmas movies. Tomorrow, I will get back into doing a review! Enjoy!
1. What is your favourite Christmas film?
The Holiday. It’s so romantic and funny! If you haven’t seen it, definitely watch it this month, you will love it.
2. Have you ever had a White Christmas?
I live in Canada, so I had my fair share of white Christmases. However, I don’t think it will be a white one this year, it’s way too warm.
3. Where do you usually spend your Holiday?
At home. Christmas Eve is spent at my boyfriend’s family and Christmas Day is spent at my parents 🙂
4. What is your favourite Christmas song?
I will always love All I want for Christmas is you by Mariah Carey. Also, anything by Michael Bublé.
5. Do you open any presents on Christmas Eve?
My boyfriend’s family celebrates on Christmas Eve, so I always get to open up their presents.
6. Can you name all of Santa’s reindeer?
Dasher, Prancer, Donner, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Dancer, Blitzen and Rudolph! Woohoo!
7. What holiday traditions are you looking forward to the most this year?
My sisters and I all stay in the same room on Christmas Eve and we honestly get each other amped up for Christmas. We have been doing this since we were young and I am not sure how much longer it will go on for, but it’s honestly the best part. As well, the morning of is always nice because we have breakfast together (never happens) and we open our stockings then presents. It makes me happy thinking about it!
8. Is your Christmas tree real or fake?
Fake.
9. What is your all-time favourite holiday food/ sweet treat?
Sugar cookies! Ugh, my Nanny makes the best tasting ones and my sister has started to make them as well. So good!
10. Be honest: Do you like receiving gifts or giving gifts better?
There comes a point in your life where you get to that age where giving gifts is so much better than receiving. Obviously, it’s great getting them, but there is nothing better than seeing how happy the other person is when they open up the gift they have wanted.
11. What is the best Christmas gift you ever received?
I honestly can’t think of one amazing one. Any gift I recieve is amazing to me, so I couldn’t tell you.
12. What would be your dream place to visit for the holiday season?
New York. We were going to go this year, but it’s so damn expensive. Maybe next year.
13. Are you a pro-present wrapper or do you fail miserably?
I don’t fail miserably, but I am not amazing at it.
14. Most memorable Holiday moment?
I honestly can’t think of any memorable moments. I honestly believe every year is memorable for me and I am lucky to spend it with my loved ones.
15. What made you realize the truth about Santa?
I was told in school by friends. It broke my heart, but I still had to believe because my sisters are younger than me. I honestly think you can still believe and have an imagination. It’s what makes this holiday so special.
16. Do you make New Years resolutions? Do you stick to them?
I try to stick to them, but I always fail. I am better at making short-term goals haha
17. What makes the Holidays so special for you?
I love knowing that I can spend time with my family and not have to worry about work or any stress in my life. It’s genuine happiness and it doesn’t get much better than that!
I hope you enjoyed this Christmas tag! Feel free to take it 🙂
Merry Christmas!
I may have to join in on this tag! So fun to learn more about your Christmas memories and favorites. That is so cool you and your sisters stay in the same room on Christmas Eve. I also have New York on my bucket list to visit during the holiday season!

I love reading about everyone else’s experiences…a lot of people tend to have similar traditions and you get to learn about other traditions. New York is on my list for sure to spend Christmas. I went during the Summer, but it’s completely different during the Winter.

Ahhh such a lovely post!
I just feel so happy, as every time I log into WordPress, it’s super festive and this is my favourite season as well! 😄
I know, Blogmas is quite overwhelming and a bit frightening, to be honest… So it’s great that you’re going by your own schedule.
Also, I totally might be stealing this tag, haha! I’ve seen it all around the site and it seems like so much fun! 😊
Hope you’re having a wonderful day. 😊

Definitely steal this tag! I feel the same way, everyone is in the spirit and anyone would be crazy if they weren’t as well haha
Blogmas is a little overwhelming so going at my pace is more suitable for me.
I hope you’re having a great day as well xo

I wanted to try and do blogmas as well but I don’t think i have that kind of discipline yet! I was thinking about doing the 12 days of christmas every other day

The 12 days of Christmas seems more ideal. Blogmas is overwhelming and its hard to post every day.

Yay! Can’t wait to see more of your lovely posts throughout December. If Blogmas is too much for you, you could always do something like the The Twelve Days of Christmas and do a post every other day like I’m doing. It’s a lot more manageable and just as fun! I’m definitely doing this tag next! By the way, do you know how to schedule posts? This new wordpress update is kind of confusing;) xoxo

I am thinking of doing 12 days of Christmas, it seems more ideal for me. But everyone is in the spirit, so regardless it will be a fun time 🙂
Have you figured out how to schedule? The new update really threw me off as well. Next to publish on the left hand side it will say date and time and that is where you schedule. Hope that helps!

Yay! I am glad you feel the same, one of the best movies.
I am really hoping to go next year. I was there last Summer and fell in love with the city, so I am desperate to go back again haha
