I have been very MIA lately on here and I apologize. I don’t know about you, but I get so overwhelmed sometimes with ideas that I don’t even know where to start, so I don’t. Life has been exhausting recently too, so that is why you haven’t heard much from me.
But, I am back and ready to post!
I have been trying to find a good blush lately. I used to be terrified of wearing blush because I thought it would make me look like a clown, but with numerous YouTube videos and various Blog posts, I have mastered the art of blush.
I didn’t want to buy a new blush if I didn’t have to because I am trying to use my products up. I was pleasantly surprised when I stumbled upon my E.L.F Blush Palette that was purchased a few months ago. It wasn’t used too often as it was at the back of my makeup organizer and I quite frankly don’t look too far back. I am so glad I did because this is easily one of my favourite products at the moment.
All About It
This blush palette is from the studio line, which is their best line, in my opinion. There are 4 blush shades that come in a black, sleek packaging. Inside sit the 4 blushes and a large mirror. The blush palette has 2 shades to choose from, 1 in light and 1 in dark, which are suitable for all skin types.
The best part of the palettes is the ability to take out each blush and kind of create your own. If you like 1 shade from the dark palette and 3 from the light, you can fit them all together and create your perfect blushes. I personally got the light, as I am fairer, and the shades look gorgeous on my skin. The blush instantly makes my skin pop and makes me look more awake.
All 4 shades are incredibly pigmented! A little definitely goes a long way. However, if you apply too much on your cheeks, these are very blendable, so you can easily fix anything you don’t like. The palette costs $6 and I highly recommend this to anyone who is looking for a new blush product or maybe you haven’t really experienced applying it. Plus, this is very travel-friendly, so you can bring it anywhere with you.
Three out of the four blushes are matte ranging from a sunkissed bronze, a light pink and a dark pink. The fourth blush is more of a coral that has some shimmer, but once applied, you can barely notice it. As you can tell from the swatches, they apply very well and there isn’t any lack of colour.
I hope to buy the dark palette to get more of a range of blushes. As well, I hope to try more of their products out. E.L.F has really been improving their products lately and constantly adding new things. I can’t wait until I make my order, officially (you should see my wish list).
Let me know what you think about this palette. What is your favourite blush?
