I have had no desire to type up another review tonight, even though I have been trying plenty of products out. I wanted a night where I didn’t feel like doing a whole lot and the idea of editing was just not on the agenda tonight. However, I always have time for a Blogger Tag, especially beauty related. Of course, everyone is free to take it and I will tag anyone who would like to be tagged 🙂 I have been slacking on my nomination posts and yes, they are coming, so this will do for now! I have mentioned before how much I love connecting with others and having other bloggers get the recognition for all their hard work. I am by no means an expert on this, but I do value every single person who follows me, comments and likes my posts. With that being said, please let me know if you would like to be mentioned in this post!
Now on to the questions….
1. Name a beauty regime that you rarely do?
There is a few that I rarely do and that is all thanks to my laziness. I am the type of person who would rather get a ton of sleep than wake up early and prepare myself for my day. A lot of the time it’s my hair I slack with. One of them being curling. I can’t for the life of me sit down and curl my hair when I rather would be sleeping. I also don’t have the time for creating a “blow out” look. I much rather take the flat iron and give myself nice sleek locks.
Also, I rarely self-tan. I have all the products needed for a perfect tan, but I just can’t be bothered with it. I tell myself that I want to look tanned, but when it comes down to it, I am content with my pale skin. Maybe one day I will work up the patience to do it.
2. Is washing your make-up brushes something that you do regularly?
Uhhhh no! I am so bad! It is so important to clean your brushes, but I am just so bad with keeping up with it. I have everything I need for a great clean, but I think my problem is that my brushes won’t feel as good when I first bought them. I know you are supposed to clean them before you use them but that never happens. My fear is real and very pathetic and a bad excuse.
Clean your brushes!
3. How long will you last with chipped nail polish?
Seriously, 10 minutes. I am constantly doing something with my hands and I have a horrible habit of biting my nails. I forget that I have polish on them and it’s chipped before I know it!
4. How long will you put off buying/replacing a beauty product, even if you need it?
I don’t. I really don’t know what that feels like though as I have gone a bit crazy over the past 6 months with buying makeup. However, I usually make a list of products that I am about to run out of and I will go out to buy everything I need. But for right now, I have more than enough to last me a while.
5. What is your worst beauty habit?
Hmm, definitely biting my nails. I don’t know if that is considered a beauty habit or just a bad habit. Also, not using heat protectant with my hair….so bad!
6. Name something non-beauty related that you put off doing all the time?
Putting my laundry away or making my bed. Two things I can’t be bothered with haha
7. When going out somewhere, do you leave getting ready to the last minute?
With work, I give myself a good 30-40 minutes to get ready, give or take. When it comes to the weekend, I take forever to get ready! I am talking hours. I like to shower and relax then get ready. I will never rush my makeup routine.
8. Can you commit to spending bans?
I am hoping this year will be the year. I am planning to slowly back off on the spending because ti will be easier for me in the long run. I have definitely improved since the new year.
9. How organised is your make-up and nail polish collections?
Really good! I have 3 drawer trolley that has everything organized plus a smaller one on my table. Everything has a space for it and you wouldn’t know I had so much makeup.
There you have it and my procrastinating ways!
I love to see your posts 🙂
